My name is Mike Fahrni, also known as Mr.Killjoy. I’m a 33 year-old drummer based in Le Locle, Switzerland, and I would like to express my sincere interest in joining the Zultan family as an endorsed artist for 2026.

1. Celebrating 20 Years Behind the Drum Kit

In October this year, I celebrated 20 years of drumming, two decades of passion, live shows, recording sessions, and teaching. Throughout my career, I’ve worked with several Swiss and international bands, signed several endorsement deals (Soultone Cymbals, Bang! Drums, Agner Drumsticks), and played over 500 live shows across Europe. I am currently the drummer for a rising Metal band called Silver Dust and I'm going to join a big swiss Hard Rock band called Crystal Ball for the next year.

2. A Promising Year Ahead with Silver Dust and Crystal Ball

Next year is shaping up to be a major one for Silver Dust, with confirmed appearances at Masters of Rock Festival (Czech Republic), Bangers Open Air Festival (Brazil), many festivals across Europe and an European Tour already planned in January 2027. https://silver-dust.net/

With Crystal Ball, we’re going to record a new album in February, shoot some video clips, and release the band’s 15th record. The project is very popular in Switzerland and has a strong fan base, with 27K listeners on Spotify and 15K fans on Facebook. I’ll be officially introduced as the new drummer next year, and I’m really excited about it. Crystal Ball has been my favorite Swiss rock band since I was a kid. https://www.crystal-ball.ch/en/

In addition, I’ve had the great honor of joining the Mapex Drums family as a new endorser in February 2026 with two brand new drumkits.

3. A Full Commitment to Representing Zultan

After 10 years playing with the American brand ''Soultone Cymbals'' I definitely need something new and this exciting time has inspired me to invest in the best gear possible for both stage and studio use.

I am therefore looking to acquire three new cymbal setups, two dedicated to live shows, the other for recordings and videos.

I don’t just want to play Zultan Cymbals, I would like to actively represent the brand. I am ready and eager to be involved in drum clinics, masterclasses and promotional events, as well as to create branded content for social media. I would proudly showcase Zultan through both my artistic and educational projects, putting the logo of the brand on my kickdrums on my social medias and in the booklet of the next records.

What I love most about Zultan is that it’s not just about sound, it’s about identity, community, and artistic expression. Every product I tried over the years reflects a philosophy I deeply connect with. A perfect balance between tradition and innovation, between musicality and personality.

I would be truly honored to represent Zultan as an endorsed artist and to become part of the family, I believe in your vision, and I would love to contribute to it by sharing my passion and experience with the global drumming community.

My actual cymbal setup is :

1X Hi Hat 14'', 1X Ride 20'', 1X Crash 17'', 2X Crash 18'', 1X Crash-Ride 19'', 1X China 19'' or 20''

1X Splash 8'' or 9''.  I already tried the Rockbeat Series on many drumkits, but I think the Alaris Series or the F5 Series would be better for my drumming.

4. Strong Presence Online and in the Swiss Music Scene

I continuously grow my visibility through platforms such as Instagram, YouTube, Facebook and TikTok with regular drum videos, live performance clips, and behind-the-scenes content. Since 2013, I have also been running my own drum school in the Neuchâtel region. Additionally, I organize various music events (festivals, music gear fairs) that connect and energize the local music community.

5. A Visually Engaging Showman-Style Performance

My drumming style is highly visual and demonstrative, featuring numerous stick tricks, expressive movements, and an ultra-dynamic stage presence. I see every performance as a show in itself, where energy, precision, and charisma must meet. This showman approach not only captivates audiences but also adds a powerful visual identity to the live experience a style that aligns perfectly with a bold and inspiring brand like Zultan.

6. Unwavering Motivation

Now more than ever, I’m ready to take my drumming career to the next level. My goal is to collaborate with a brand that shares my values of passion, reliability, and innovation.
